Liaison with Link Primary Schools

To ensure continuity and progression we have built up strong links with our primary schools.

These partnerships involve close co-operation between Head Teachers with regular joint meetings to plan and evaluate the effectiveness of our programme for continuity and progression. Subject specialists from the linked schools meet with Wildern staff to develop their knowledge of each other’s work to ensure a coherent curriculum for 5-16 year-olds. Exciting projects take place throughout the school year involving teachers and students from Wildern and the primary schools working together. Transition is managed well with staff liaising throughout the process to ensure that all students joining Wildern are as prepared as they can be.
