The d.@rt centre is a community venue for all ages who wish to engage in performing and visual arts. With an emphasis on arts, crafts and music, our centre-run courses, which also include a cookery programme for all ages) are led by professional practitioners or artists in hour long, half day or full day workshops, including children’s holiday activities.

We encourage local artists to exhibit work in our foyer space, sell through our cabinets, perform at open mic nights or take part in our variety of social sessions.

The d.@rt centre boasts specialist rooms for dance, drama, art and music. These spaces are available for hire. We currently hire space to a number of local dance schools, bands and drama groups in evenings from 4.30pm to 9.30pm and at weekends.

The Fairtrade Café is a popular place to sit and chat or to become part of one of our regular community social groups Book Club, Knit and Natter, Wave Film Society, Open Mic Night, and elders groups.

For older people in our community we offer computer classes, arts and crafts sessions, and a quarterly Silver Screening programme, all supported by Wildern pupils.

Our aim is to provide high quality workshops and classes at affordable rates for anyone aged between 4 and 104.

The d.@rt centre is open from 8.30am to 9.30pm daily and Saturday from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
