Lifeguards/ Leisure Assistant

LEISURE ASSISTANTS/ LIFEGUARDS – Casual

The successful applicant will be involved in all key aspects of operational services across all areas of the Leisure Centre, including the Fitness Suite, Sports Hall, Swimming Pool and Reception. A National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ) is essential and a Level 2 Fitness Certificate is desirable.

Hours of work involve early mornings, daytime, evening and weekend hours available; Monday to Sunday.

There may be additional hours available to cover for staff absences.

We hold staff training one Tuesday a month from 8.00pm to 10.00pm and Sunday 6pm – 8pm, therefore you will need to commit to attending this training session (for which you will be paid) in order to maintain your NPLQ qualification. Casual rate of £6.40 to £11.44 per hour (dependant on age).
